You can use a window cleaner occasionally for spills but don t over use ammonia which can strip protective sealant.

Laminate floor containing laminate planks are not suitable for steam clean because moisture can quickly go through this floor and damage it easily. Also check the pad on your steam cleaner. If your floor is looking dingy use a mop and some elbow grease to clean it. For deeper cleaning you can use a steam mop very sparingly on laminate floors.

Avoid oil based cleaners as they can leave streaks that are impossible to get rid of. It may take several passes to get the floor clean but the mop is safer for your floors.
