The door can still be opened closed while the controls are locked.
You can t release the lock mode until that button gets unstuck.
If it s large enough or if enough debris is present it will keep the door from closing properly and stop the dishwasher from working altogether.
If it continues flashing the button is likely stuck.
If any buttons are pressed while the dishwasher control is locked the light will flash three times.
If the door hinges are damaged the door won t be able to latch properly.
You may need to disable sleep mode by pressing either start resume or cancel or by opening and closing the door before you are able to turn the control lock off.
If the problem is the dishwasher door latch the next step is to closely inspect it.
The dishwasher not only requires the strike to keep the door closed but the door.
